Competing at the FAI F4 Scale World Championships over the years has seen Great Britain crowned as the winning team in 1970, 1976, 1978, 1982, 1988, 1990, 1992 and 2010.

Despite our success on the international stage Great Britain has only hosted the Championships on two previous occasions: the inaugural FAI F4 Scale World Championships at Cranfield in 1970 and in 1978 at RAF Woodvale.

Nearly fifty years after the Championships were held at Woodvale, the BMFA Scale Technical Committee have worked hard to bring the 2026 FAI F4 Scale World Championships back to Great Britain!
